On June 19, 2011, the 16th Tengelmann Run started with approx. 2,200 runners over various distances. The proceeds from that day are being devoted to sports for disabled children and young people.
On June 14, 2011, an eco-power charging station was opened at the climate-friendly Tengelmann store in Mülheim. Here, customers can easily charge their electric car free for 1 hour while shopping.
In May, eleven employees from the Group’s headquarters participated in the Volunteer Day in the Oberhausen Friedensdorf.
On January 10, 2011, Rainer Brüderle, Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, visited the climate-friendly Tengelmann store.
